1.ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the Ektopa Track Database, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We may require you to accept additional terms before using specific features.
2.ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
You must register through Meta Horizon or Steam to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authenticated session and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction.
3.USER CONDUCT
You agree not to submit falsified track times, exploit bugs to manipulate rankings, harass other users, scrape or abuse the platform's APIs, or upload content that infringes third-party rights. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, and removal of associated leaderboard entries.
4.CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Tracks, screenshots, and metadata you submit remain your property, but you grant Ektopa a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute them within the platform. The Ektopa name, logo, interface design, and aggregated database remain the exclusive property of Ektopa and may not be reproduced without written permission.
5.THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The platform integrates with Meta Horizon and Steam for authentication and gameplay data. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms, which we encourage you to review.
6.DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of leaderboard data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ektopa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
7.TERMINATION
You may deactivate your account at any time through Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in conduct that harms other users. Upon termination, your personal data is removed within 30 days, though leaderboard entries may be anonymized rather than deleted.
8.CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform with an updated revision date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
